Meet The Therapist
Jessica Eddy-Storey
Founder of Transform Myofascial Release
I’ve been on a lifelong journey to get my body out of pain. Having experienced chronic pain and injuries myself, I know what it’s like to not sleep night after night, and I know what it’s like to feel as though pain has drained all joy and energy from your life. This personal experience, combined with my degree in occupational therapy from Boston University and over 25 years of working with patients, has given me deep insight into helping people regain their ability to do not just what they need to do, but what they love to do.
I have known pain.
After trying many treatments for my own chronic shoulder pain, I found a gifted physician who reintroduced me to fascia and myofascial pain. This led me to discover Myofascial Release, which offered me profound, lasting physical and emotional healing. Now, I share this life-changing therapy with others.
I’ve been a lifelong yoga practitioner (starting in the womb – my mom practiced prenatal yoga!) and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2003. Yoga has helped keep my body limber, but when I’ve been in serious pain, I needed more.
I know that pain isn’t always just physical – it often carries an emotional undercurrent. Our bodies keep score. I am a trauma-informed Reiki Master, Polarity Practitioner, and trained in Integrated Energy Therapy. I blend my background in yoga, Reiki, Polarity Therapy, and energy work to holistically support my clients in getting out of pain and back to the lives they love. Whether you're struggling with acute injuries or seeking deeper healing, I’m here to help.
I opened Transform Myofascial Release with a mission to help people transform their lives. My approach combines intuition and energy practices with a deep understanding of anatomy, injury, and fascia to provide a comprehensive emotional and physical healing experience. I holistically support and empower my patients to get out of pain so they can achieve greater health, happiness, and wellbeing.
I live in Beverly with my husband and two cats. When I’m not working with clients or running a business, I enjoy getting outdoors for a walk or run, weeding in my garden, or sitting on my porch with a book. During the summer, my husband and I love to go sailing on our boat. I also love exercising and taking HIIT classes at the Beverly Athletic Club.
As a lifelong beach bum, I am happiest on, in, or by the sea. Fun Fact: I spent three years teaching yoga in the Virgin Islands!
