Meet Jessica Eddy-Storey
OT, LMT, Reiki Master
Founder of Transform Myofascial Release
Jessica has been on a lifelong journey to get her body out of pain. Having experienced chronic pain and injuries, she know what it’s like to not sleep night after night, and knows what it’s like to feel as though pain has drained all joy and energy from your life. This personal experience, combined with a degree in occupational therapy from Boston University and over 25 years of working with patients, has given Jessica deep insight into helping people regain their ability to do not just what they need to do, but what they love to do.
I have known pain.
During college, Jessica was exposed to John Barnes, PT's writing about fascia and myofascial release. It made sense. When she interned, she met therapists that were trained by him and learned technqnicqes to treat her body and patients. Over the years she has studied MFR and continues to take courses annually, including courses she attended years ago. Jessica has also been a lifelong yoga practitioner (starting in the womb – her mom practiced prenatal yoga!) and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2003. Yoga has helped keep her body limber, but when she was in serious pain, she needed more.
Jessica knows that pain isn’t always just physical – it often carries an emotional undercurrent. Our bodies keep score. She is a trauma-informed Reiki Master, Polarity Practitioner, and trained in Integrated Energy Therapy. She blends her background in yoga, Reiki, Polarity Therapy, and energy work to holistically support her clients in getting out of pain and back to the lives they love. Whether you're struggling with acute injuries or seeking deeper healing, she is here to help.
Jessica opened Transform Myofascial Release with a mission to help people transform their lives. Her approach combines intuition and energy practices with a deep understanding of anatomy, injury, trauma and fascia to provide a comprehensive emotional and physical healing experience. She holistically supports and empowers her patients to get out of pain so they can achieve greater health, happiness, and wellbeing.
She lives in Beverly with her husband and two cats; Manchego, a 20-pound Maine coon and Snapper, a rescue from Anguilla, an island Jessica and Mike visit every year.
When she is not at Transform MFR, Jessica enjoy getting outdoors. During the summer, she loves to go sailing with her husband on their sailboat, and are members of the Jubilee Yacht Club. She also loves exercising and taking HIIT classes at the Beverly Athletic Club.
As a lifelong beach bum, Jessica is happiest on, in, or by the sea. She loves to SCUBA dive & travel the world. Fun Fact: Jessica spent three years teaching yoga in the Virgin Islands!
