Imagine what you’d do if pain didn’t hold you back!

TMFR’s mission is to transform

lives by reducing physical and emotional pain

so you can get back to moving with ease

and doing what you love.

MFR treats your entire body—not just symptoms or a diagnosis. We consider where you’ve been physically & emotionally and what has contributed to your condition across your lifespan.

We help people who have been to specialists & traditional therapy but are still struggling with pain and limited mobility. We help people reclaim their active lifestyle.

Want to come and relax and recharge your energy? We do that, too! MFR is gentle and restorative. If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, dealing with anxiety or insomnia, MFR will help you hit the reboot button!

We help athletes who are looking for a competitive edge.

We help older adults improve their health and wellness by maintaining joint flexibility and normal posture so they can keep doing the activities they love.

Meet Our Therapist

Welcome! I’m Jessica. I’ve been on a lifelong journey to get my body out of pain. As a child, I broke my maxilla (bone in my face) and needed a lot of orthodontic work & TMJ treatment. I had chronic knee pain and surgery in high school which exposed me to a lot of therapy. I graduated from Boston University with a degree in occupational therapy and have over 25 years of experience helping people regain their ability to do the things they not just need to do but love to do.

As I mentioned, I know pain. I have had several whiplash injuries, broken bones, a chronic ankle sprain that wouldn’t heal despite therapy, injections, wearing a walking boot for two years. . .I know what it’s like to not sleep for days because of pain. I know what it’s like to no longer have joy in your life because pain has sucked all your energy. I have tried many, many, things to help.

I have been a life-long yoga practitioner, starting in the womb when my mom practiced pre-natal yoga. I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2003.  Yoga has helped keep my body limber but when I have been in serious pain, I needed more.

After trying so many things to heal chronic shoulder pain, I found a gifted physician using non-surgical techniques to treat chronic pain. He re-introduced me to fascia, myofascial pain and this helped me on my journey to discover myofascial release and become a myofascial release therapist. Myofascial Release provided lasting deep physical and emotional healing for me and now I want to share that with others.

I know that pain isn’t always just physical and that some injuries often have an emotional undercurrent. Our bodies keep score. I am also a trauma-informed Reiki Master, polarity practitioner & trained in Integrated Energy Therapy.

I opened Transform Myofascial Release, LLC with the mission to help people transform their lives. I holistically support and empower my patients to get out of pain so they can achieve greater health, happiness, and wellbeing. I blend my intuition and energy practices with my knowledge of anatomy, injury and the fascia to provide a comprehensive emotional & physical healing experience.

I live in Beverly with my husband & two cats. I have a strong self-care practice including daily meditation, journaling, centering exercises, yoga & Myofascial stretching, and I receive regular MFR treatment. I know that in order to take care of others I must first be in the best condition possible.

I love to exercise & take HIIT classes at the Beverly Athletic Club. I am a life-long beach bum and happiest on, in or by the sea.  I spent 3 years teaching yoga in the Virgin Islands and have since needed regular vacations to the Caribbean to keep me sane during the winter months. I enjoy traveling the world, SCUBA diving in exotic places and my husband & I are proud members of the Jubilee Yacht Club where we keep our 33’ sailboat, Limin’, (Caribbean word for relaxing & going slow).

I’m looking forward to meeting you! Please reach out if you have any questions.
